A Letter From the President

Dear Parents and Friends of Beacon,

The Beacon PTO Activities booklet is available on the Beacon website this year (see menu to the right). It was created to present an overview of the many activities at Beacon Elementary. In order for these many activities to be successful, we need volunteers to participate in administering the programs. Please look through the various program descriptions to see where you would feel comfortable participating. A brief program description has been given for each activity as well as the duties of the chairpersons. You will notice that each activity lists the number of other volunteers needed and the amount of time that would be asked.

It is important for your children to see you involved in their education. We encourage you to give time when you can and participate in school activities. Your help is needed and wanted! If you would like more information about a particular program, please call the activity chairperson or email your questions tobeaconpto@yahoo.com

In addition to program descriptions, you will find the Beacon PTO Constitution and by-laws.

The Beacon PTO meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Child care is available for $1.00 per child for school age children only.

The 2011-2012 PTO meeting dates are: September 6, October 4, November 1, December 6, January 3, February 7, March 6, April 3, and May 1.
